Abstrakt

Venous diseases, including varicose veins, represent a significant health challenge in India. However, further research is essential to better understand the prevalence, risk factors, and underlying mechanisms of these conditions within the Indian population. Although treatment options are available, access to care and awareness about venous diseases can be limited, especially in rural regions. There are several research studies going on across the world on the prognosis of the chronic venous disease. All the study results suggest that there is a complex interplay of genetic, epigenetic, and environmental factors .This review gives a overview of research studies and outcomes of varicose vein in India.
